The following are GoDaddy SMTP email settings. These are the stock\/default settings provided by GoDaddy. We have tested and can confirm they work. However, any SMTP email connection is dependent upon your hosting server being able to connect to the email server (GoDaddy). Please be sure to review all the information provided in this tutorial including your settings, troubleshooting and extra notes sections.<\/p>\n

Section 2: Troubleshooting<\/div>\n

You may not be able to instantly connect to the GoDaddy servers, as we expect should happen. This can be due to a few different things.<\/p>\n

Possible Solution<\/div>\n

Check with your web hosting provider to ensure port 465 is not blocked for the outbound connection. Check to make sure 465\/SSL is OK to use in general or if there maybe be anything else preventing your hosting server from making the connection. Your web hosting provider will need to assist you with this task.<\/p>\n

Check your GoDaddy email account to ensure you have relays available and that there is nothing preventing your email account from being connected to, and used. GoDaddy will need to assist you with this task.<\/p>\n

These items are purely something your service providers need to look at for you. You’re welcome to open a support ticket with our support dept. but please know there is little we can do to assist here. Everything we have to offer in terms of GoDaddy connectivity is in the tutorial here.<\/p>\n

Section 3: Notes<\/div>\n

If you are still having trouble and neither of the above two options help, many customers have switched the setting from SMTP to PHP mail() Function<\/strong> and have found success using this method also. We have in fact tested this ourselves and confirm this will work too. We think the vast majority of GoDaddy email users are actually using the PHP mail() Function<\/strong> setting without issue.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
